Satay Ayam

For 4 persons
Ingredients:
800 g chicken
1 large clove garlic, minced
3 tablespoons of ginger chopped
10 cl of soy sauce
15 cl of milk coconut
3 tablespoons honey
6 tablespoons butter of peanuts
1 tablespoon curry
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon of turmeric
1 teaspoon of lemon grass skewers
For the decoration: peanuts , chopped

Preparation: 20 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Rest: 240 min
Total time: 270 minutes
Difficulty: Easy

Step by step to make "Satay Ayam":
  1. Soak the skewers (if it wooden) for 5 minutes. Cut chicken into small pieces. 
  2. In a bowl, combine all ingredients for sauce and add chicken. Let it marinate for at least 4 hours. 
  3. Pin the chicken pieces onto skewers and place on oven rack. Cook for 2 minutes remaining sauce in the microwave and mix if there are pieces. Add a little coconut milk if necessary. 
  4. Preheat the oven (180 ° C) if possible by combining heat and grill. Cook for 5 minutes, turn the skewers and cook for 3 minutes. 
  5. Serve the skewers with the sauce and peanuts.
